Grace Ann Burcar

Obituary Grace Ann (Eshpeter) Burcar Grace Ann (Eshpeter) Burcar, 91, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Emil. Grace was born in Edmonton, Alberta. As a child, she immigrated to Tacoma with her family. Grace remembers her arrival; the family came to Tacoma with numerous suitcases containing everything they owned. She graduated from St. Leo's High School and in 1942 married Emil. Emil and Grace built their own house in Dash Point, raising their family of 5 children. She enjoyed Dash Point Dock dinners, making sauerkraut, spending time at the Beach Place, and wintering in Yuma, AZ. Grace is survived by her children, Arlene (Frank) Paul, Patricia (Reed) Cooper, Frank (Marianna), Matt and Henry (Gillian); her grandchildren, Richard (Wendy), Amy, Teresa, Diane, Greg (Francesca), Lisa, Julie, Scott (Melody), Sarah, and Angela. Great grandchildren, Zachary, Austin, Brooke, and Jacob. Special thanks to St. Joseph's Heart Failure Clinic.
