Gloria M Nickolas

Obituary Gloria M. Nickolas Gloria was born April 1, 1926 in Washington to Frank and Bertha Robbins. The family resided in Tacoma and she attended Stadium High School, class of 1945, where she was a drum majorette. After graduation, she worked at Almvigs Record Store until she met the love of her life, Nick. She raised 3children and enjoyed being a stay at home mom, with extra attention to her home and garden. She was a member of the Holy Cross Mother's Club, the Fire and Policeman's Auxillary and many years helped with the Altar Society at Holy Cross. She was dedicated to her grandchildren, great grandchildren, her dog Sunny and cat Tinkerbell. Nick and Gloria enjoyed their active social life; going to Reno and Hawaii and hosting family gatherings. Gloria is survived by her husband Nick; daughters Penny (Alan), Cindy and son Nick, Jr. (Courtney); grandchildren: Chad, Jesse, Sarah, Logan; 6 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, friends and "adopted daughters" who she loved dearly. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, October 16, 2013, 11:00 am at Holy Cross Catholic Church; Rosary will be recited Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at 7:00pm at Gaffney Funeral Home Chapel.
