Gloria A. Lavick

Obituary Gloria A. Lavick passed away suddenly on July 5, 2007. She was born in Spokane, Washington on October 4, 1949, and was a graduate of Holy Names Academy and Washington State University. Gloria enjoyed traveling, hiking and camping with family and friends, she was an avid sports fan and a loyal Cougar. She participated in relays and running events and completed both the San Diego and New York City marathons. After retiring from Medical Rentals, the family-owned business, she spent many hours volunteering as a tutor in the Werlin Reading Program. Gloria was a loving wife and mother and is survived by her husband Jim, her son Jacob, and her extended family of six brothers, a sister, and many nieces and nephews. Gloria touched our lives with her kind and generous spirit. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her name to the Humane Society of Tacoma and Pierce County. A celebration of her life will be held on July 12, 2007 at 2:00 pm at Charles Wright Academy, 7723 Chambers Creek Road W in Tacoma, Washington .
