Obituary Giuditta Esther Boitano 10/10/1925 - 2/13/2007 Giuditta was born October 10, 1925 to Lawrence and Maria Gius, and resided in Fife until her death February 13th, 2007. She was one of four children including brothers Leslie and August and sister Martha. Giuditta graduated from Fife High School in 1943 and worked a number of years at Winthrop Motors in Tacoma. Giuditta married John A. Boitano in 1948, and raised seven children. Giuditta supported her husband John in their family farming and wholesale produce business. Through the business they enjoyed many warm and lasting friendships throughout the Puyallup Valley farming community Giuditta also had many lifelong community friendships throughout the Fife area. Giuditta was a founding member of the St. Martin of Tours Parish, where she was active in the Alter Society and church activities. Mom's life revolved around her family. Giuditta is preceded in death by her husband John A., brothers Leslie and August, and an infant son. She is survived by her sister Martha and by her seven children; Louie (Kathy), Cathy, Susan, Larry (Jan), Greg (Shari), David (Cappri), and Mark (Noelle), 10 grandchildren, and 2 great granddaughters. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Fife, WA, on Saturday 11:00 a.m. A Rosary will begin at 10:30 a.m. Lunch reception will follow mass in the church hall. Remembrances may be made to the St. Martin of Tours' St. Vincent DePaul fund. The family sincerely thanks the Tacoma General Hospital ICU physicians, nurses, and support staff for their care and outstanding support of our beloved mother.
