Gerard Pierce

Obituary Gerard L. Pierce, 83, died April 12, 2005 in Tacoma. He had retired from the U.S. Army as a Colonel and Chief Pharmacist after 28 years of service. Jerry retired from his second career as a pharmacist at Madigan Army Hospital. Jerry had lived in the Lakewood area for 30 years and he and his wife enjoyed traveling, especially to Hong Kong. He was preceded in death by his wife Edith in 2001. Jerry is survived by his sons; Steven (Kathleen) and David (Lilly), sister-in-law; Doris Cowgill, granddaughters; Michelle, Meghan, and Erin, and many nieces and cousins. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 16, 2005, 2:00 p.m. at the Gaffney Funeral Home Chapel. Interment at Tahoma National Cemetery. Please leave online condolences at www.gaffneyfuneralhome.com.
