Obituary Gerald F. (Jerry) White 1922-2009 A member of Holy Cross Catholic Church, Jerry was very proud to have been an usher for 60 years. He worked for ASARCO for over 40 years. Jerry attended Bellarmine High School. He served in the United States Coast Guard during WWII. He and his wife, Hilda, raised three children: Carey, Donna and Jerry. Jerry belonged to the Elks, Eagles, AMVETS and VFW. He and Hilda belonged to Driftwood Dance Club, Aristocrats trailer club and Rolling RV's. They enjoyed spending time at Cowlitz Timber Trails and traveling with their trailer. He was preceded in death by his wife, Hilda, parents John and Nora White and his brother John J. (Jack) White. He is survived by his children Carey Nyman (Dave), Donna Stanley (Randy) and Gerald M.White (Teri), cousins John Daly and Nora Chris Boze. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren and long time friend Jennie Freeman. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Cross Catholic Church Saturday, November 21, 2009 at 10:30 am with a reception following in the church hall. Interment at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Holy Cross Catholic Church or the charity of your choice. The family wishes to thank the staff of The Village Retirement and Assisted Living and Franciscan Hospice for the care they gave Jerry over the last year.
