Obituary George E. Hoffman "The most honorable man I will ever know" A sentiment held by all of George's children and grandchildren. Born in Tacoma, WA, November 27, 1922 George passed away October 1st in his home with his family at his bedside. He was a life-long member of Holy Rosary Parish; he attended Holy Rosary School and graduated from Bellarmine Preparatory School in 1941. A World War II veteran, and lifelong member of the American Vets, George highly valued and respected service to his country. Most importantly George was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend to all. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife of 60 years, Margaret and his three children, Timothy (Margie) Hoffman, Sheila (Andy) Gorder, Patsy Hoffman, six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and beloved nieces and nephews. His family and friends knew George's home was always open to everyone; he loved company and meeting new people. George will always be with us as he left a special something with everyone he encountered. Thanks to Franciscan Hospice for their tender loving care of dad and our family. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday Oct. 6, 2009 11:00 am Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Rosary will be recited prior to Mass at 10:30 am also at the church. Interment Calvary Cemetery. Viewing at the funeral home Monday Oct 5, 2009 1- 5 pm. The family asks that donations be given to either Holy Rosary School or Franciscan Hospice.
