Frances K. Mckamey

Obituary Frances K. McKamey Frances K. McKamey died at home on May 7, 2009. She was born in Tacoma on June 25, 1918 to Andrew and Helen Koval and was the youngest of 11 girls! A proud member of St. Leo's Class of 1936, she was also an accomplished musician. Throughout her life she was a soloist, organist and choir director for numerous Catholic parishes in the area. Frances was a wonderful wife, grandmother, mother, sister and aunt. Her deep Catholic faith, family, Slovak traditions and humor were the essence of this beautiful woman. Greeting her on May 7th, were her loving husband, G. Robert, devoted son, Joseph and beloved Koval family. Remaining to honor her in this life are her sons Michael (Barbara), Bob (Ellen), Tim (Kathy) and daughters, Terese (Greg) and Frances, daughter-in-law, Donna; twelve grandchildren, six great grandchildren, many nephews, nieces and cousins. The Rosary will be recited at her longtime parish of St. Joseph Slovak Church on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, May 14, 2009 at St. Patrick Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
