Obituary Fr. John (Jack) Jennings It is with sadness that we announce that Fr. John (Jack) Jennings, went home to the Lord late Sunday night, October 7, 2018. He was born in Ireland and served in the missions in Chile as Columban Priest before he came to the Archdiocese of Seattle, in 1977. He served in several parishes before his retirement in 1992. Fr Jennings resided at the Palisades for a number of years and most recently was a resident at Mt. St. Vincent in Seattle. He knew how to warm the hearts of many with his gentle, Irish sense of humor, his simple, common sense approach to life and the depth of his spiritual life. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on October 17, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the Providence Mt. St. Vincent Chapel, 4831 - 35th Ave. SW, Seattle, WA 98126. Interment will be at Gethsemane Cemetery, Federal way, WA. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Tacoma on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 10:00 am, with the Rosary at 9:30 am. "May he rest in peace!"
