Fr. Dominic Hahn

Obituary Father Dominic Hahn was born on May 6, 1936 in Edgemont, South Dakota to Gerhard J. Hahn and Viola Determan. He attended Holy Rosary School in Tacoma, St. Edward Seminary in Kenmore, St. Martin's University and Mount Angel Seminary. As a Benedictine Monk he was ordained at St. Martin's Abbey in 1980 and incardinated into the Archdiocese of Seattle in 2004. His first assignment was as a Parochial Vicar at Holy Rosary Church in Tacoma. His last assignment was as pastor of the Proto Cathedral of St. James in Vancouver. He also served in the Diocese of Baker for seven years. Over the last few years he was struggling with dementia but remained a friend to his neighbors, a frequent visitor of friends at the Palisades and an active walker in his neighborhood.
