Felisa V. De Borja

Obituary Felisa was born in the Philippines on August 23, 1918. She joined our Creator on April 30, 2007 in West Covina, California. She and her husband Gregorio immigrated to Washington State from the Philippines at the age of 63. They joined their son and lived in Tacoma from 1980 to 1998. Shortly after her husband Gregorio's death in 1997, she moved to California to live with her daughter. She was an active member of the Catholic Church, and a devotee of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Felisa's and her husband's achievement was sending their 9 children to college. Felisa is survived by her 3 sons: Eliseo (Gilda), of CA., Antonio (Myrla), of WA., and Ernest (Dionelyn) of CT; 6 daughters: Celerina (Reynaldo) Medina, of CA., Cleotilde (Ernesto) Bernardino, of Philippines, Lily De Borja of CA., Emelinda (Nicholas) Angeles of Philippines, Sally (Fidel) Mayor, of Philippines and Elizabeth (Stephen) Baltz, of WA., 17 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, May 6, 2007, beginning at 3:00 pm. Rosary will be recited Sunday, 7:00 pm at the Gaffney Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, May 7, 2007, 11:00 am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church with interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
