Obituary Evelina Schmauder, 61, passed away comfortably in her home on Wednesday, September 6, 2017 in Lakewood, WA. Evelina was born abroad in Bad Kreuznach, Germany, while her father was finishing his Army tour. She is the first child of Arthur J. Delisle, Jr. and Marjorie M. (Rice) Delisle. In about a decade's time, she became the ever loving and doting oldest sister to her six siblings: Patricia, Arthur III, George, Mildred "Julie", Marjorie, and Joan. Evelina's spirit of loving, caring for others, her generosity and creativity were freely given to a multitude of children, friends, family, and community members over a lifetime of service. She was preceded in death by her mother in 2014. Evelina is survived by her husband of 25 years, Bryan Schmauder; her son, Theodore "T.W." Petersen, his wife Brandy and 4 grandchildren: Nicail, William, Emelia and Emmett; her daughter, Trista Petersen; her father; as well as all of her brothers, sisters, and her many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent in memory of Evelina to the ALS Association - Evergreen Chapter, 19115 - 68th Ave S., Suite H-105, Kent, WA 98032-2110. www.alsa.org. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 11:00am at St. John Bosco Catholic Church in Lakewood, WA. The Rosary will be recited at 10:30am prior to Mass with viewing.
