Obituary Eugene R. McInnis age 80, died January 9, 2007. Born August 6, 1926 in Great Falls, MT. Raised on a ranch in Stanford, MT, he enlisted in the Navy at age 17 and served in the Pacific in WWII. Gene married Georgia Reilly of Stanford on January 25, 1947. They moved to Seattle in 1956 where he was employed by Boeing for 30 years. While at Boeing, he worked on the first 747 and the Minuteman missile. He was on the team that erected the Minuteman missile on display in the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum in Washington, D.C. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Georgia; his sister, Marsha Stevens of Grants Pass, OR; his children, Patricia Villa (husband, Ronald) of Tacoma, Linda Fulwiler of Seattle, and Terrence McInnis (wife, Patricia) of San Clemente, CA; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Inurnment at Tahoma National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the St. Vincent de Paul Society at St. Martin's.
