Esther Louise Stillwell

Obituary "Gigi" Esther Louise Stillwell "We love you to the moon and back" Born on April 25, 1919to Michael and Ella O'Brien and left us to be with the Lord on July 14, 2014. Esther was born and raised in North Tacoma, attended McCarver and Holy Rosary Schools. She married early on and had four beautiful children - Jack, Tom, Barbara Kennedy and Patrick Parnell. She worked as a waitress for many local hot spots and also as a candy confectioner at Brown and Haley. Esther was active with the St. Leo's community, Franke Tobey Jones and especially active raising up her bottle of Tennessee Honey whiskey. Her infectious smile, sense of humor, and gracious personality will be deeply missed by all but never forgotten. "Gigi" was known by all as a spitfire with a zest for life and never let anything hold her down - she rallied after many setbacks and never stopped buying green bananas. She is survived by her Bichon "Andy - momma's sweet boy"; her daughter Barbara and her Mr. Fix-It son in law, "Fritter", as well as her son, Patrick Parnell. Gigi leaves behind multiple grandchildren, friends and extended family. We will be celebrating Gigi's life on Friday , July 18, 2014 at St. Leo's Church.
