Ermin G Pospisil

Obituary Ermin G. Pospisil Ermin G. Pospisil passed away on June 5, 2015 at the age of 87. He was born on September 22, 1927. Ermin attended Riverside Elementary and graduated from Bellarmine Preparatory High School. At 18 years of age he enlisted in the US military and completed his commitment of 4 years and was honorably discharged as a sergeant in the US Marine Corps. On October 30, 1954, Ermin and Patricia Gaye (Bostwick) married and in 1961 they moved into a modest house in Puyallup. After five years at Boeing where his talents were often rewarded, he went to work for 35 years in the Plumbers & Pipefitters Union. In their 60 years of marriage they raised 7 children and enjoyed the company of 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Ermin was a long time member of All Saints Catholic Church, where he volunteered as an usher and greeter. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was preceded in death by his son, Joseph Pospisil; brothers, Rev. Robert Pospisil S.J., and David Pospisil; and his sisters, Geraldine Johnson and Elizabeth Ann Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Patricia; sons, Daniel and Brian; daughters, Marcy Glassman, Jennifer Cruz, Christina Mizner, Laurie Gray and Diana Tadena; 16 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; brothers, Eugene and Jerry Pospisil, DVM (retired); and sister, Ramona (Pospisil) Bostwick. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 11:00am at All Saints Catholic Church. The Glorious Mysteries of the Holy Rosary will be recited at 10:15am prior to Mass also at the church. Interment at Gethsemane Cemetery.
