Her husband, Everett, and her loving sister, Nellie, preceded her in death. A graduate of Stadium High School, Emily worked as a secretary for several companies, among them were the Bridge Clinic, various banks, and the telephone company. When able, Emily volunteered her time preparing meals for funeral receptions and by also working at them. Seven grandchildren will also feel the loss of their grandmother: Marc, Leeann, Erin, Meghan, Michelle, Emily, and LIndsey. Her cousin Bernice, and a childhood friend of over seventy years, Anne, will miss her dearly as well. Rosary will be at Gaffney Funeral Home, 1002 South Yakima, Thursday, July 28, 2005, at 7:00 pm.
