Obituary Emilio J. Miciano Emilio J. Miciano was born on July 21, 1929 in Manila in the Philippines and passed away on June 12, 2014 in Tacoma. He retired from the US Navy after 20 years of service and then continued on with his career in Civil Service. Emilio is survived by his loving wife, Judith; four children: Alan (Tess) Miciano, and their children Brandon and Audrey; Rebecca (Sonny) Santos and their children Aaron-Emilio, Jacob-Angel and Isaac-John; Linda (Victor) Mora and their children David and Gabriel, and BettyAnn (Danny) Chavez and their children Gabrielle, Emilia, Natalie and Daniel. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who left a strong legacy of love and family. He will be missed. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 1:00pm at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Tacoma. A viewing will be held on Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 9am-5pm at Gaffney Funeral Home followed by the Rosary at 7:00pm.
