Ellen Carolyn Grenier

Obituary Ellen Carolyn Grenier 3/08/1915 - 08/21/2007 Beloved wife of Louis Stanley Grenier. Survived by her sister, Nadine Davies, sisters-in-law Catherine (Martin) Schumacher of Naperville, Illinois and Florence Grenier; brother-in-law Alex Kozlowski and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister and brother-in -law Mary and Robert Brady and her sister Martha Kozlowski. Ellen was a graduate of Aquinas Academy. She was employed in many positions by the Hamrick Theaters. On July 27, 1939 she married band leader and Proctor District businessman Louis Grenier. For many years she served in the St. Patrick Church Legion of Mary, and for 17 years as Treasurer of the Visitation Retreat Guild. She was an active member of the Aquinas Academy Alumni Association. She was a member of Holy Cross Church and Altar Society, Catholic Daughters of America and Shipmates of the Tacoma Yacht Club. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, August 27th, 2007 at 11:00 am at Holy Cross Church, 5510 North 44th. Rosary will be recited on Sunday August 26th, 2007 at 7:00 pm at Gaffney Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment at Calvary Cloisters.
