Obituary Eleanor Etta Morgan "Ellie" Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and friend passed away suddenly May 20, 2009. Born December 8, 1932 in Tacoma, Ellie graduated from Lincoln High School in 1950, and attended Central WA University until she met and married Charles M. Morgan Jr. in 1953. Together they raised five children and shared 27 years of love and laughter until Chuck's untimely death in 1980. With three children still at home to support, Ellie studied to become a certified Para Educator. She worked for the Franklin Pierce School District in Special Education until she retired from Ford Middle School in 2005 at the age of 72. She was known for her never-ending commitment and high energy. Dedicated, caring, compassionate, and loving with all her students, she was a true inspiration to everyone she worked with. A woman of many interests, Ellie had a lifelong love of the outdoors, as well as music, reading, gardening, and sports, and was happiest when spending time with her family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents Rudy and Jeanne Nemec, brother Dennis Nemec, and husband Charles. Survivors include her children Colleen Nylander (Rick), Charles Morgan III (Robin), Alison Bosselmann (Dale), Grant Morgan (Kandy), and Gay Stricker (Rick); her grandchildren Erin (Dale), Rich, Jessica, Becca, Luke, Hayden, Keaton, Ben, Morgan, and Peter; and her lifelong best friend Marilyn Stephens and her family. Ellie touched the lives of all that knew her with her love, kindness, and ability to find the humor in every situation, and her family and friends were each made better by her presence. She will be desperately missed. A memorial service will be held 4:00 PM Saturday, May 30th at Lutheran Church of Christ the King, 1710 85th Street East, Tacoma. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Special Olympics Washington.
