Edward Rector

Obituary Passed away at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tacoma. Ed was born in Brooklyn, NY. As a lad, he had the great privilege of serving ice and peanuts to the Boys of Summer in Dodger's Stadium, but never sought an autograph. While serving in the US Air Force he met his dear wife Sheila (Maureen) in England, whom he married in 1954. He then worked for 20 years on the Highline CC Police Force retiring as the Chief of Police. Ed was a friendly and enthusiastic talker and was never without a story to tell. He loved gardening, Guinness and the Gunners.
