Edna Sara Fraser

Obituary Edna Sara Fraser 11/9/13 - 4/13/06 Edna was a charitable, devout Christian woman. She had a routine of daily prayers for the wellbeing of her family, friends and those in need. Edna was a member of St. Patrick's Parish for many years. Edna was proud of her ability to be an independent woman for most of her 92 years. She never married, electing to care for her parents and other family members. Edna recently moved to the Franke Tobey Jones Retirement Center where she enjoyed the last few months of her life. She had a wonderful sense of humor. Edna was known for wearing plaids, a reflection of her pride in being of Scottish/Irish heritage. For many years Edna worked in the accounting department of a local dairy company, retiring from there. She has kept up her friendships with several of her former co-workers. Edna was the only child of Margaret Leahy Fraser and John William Fraser. She is survived by numerous cousins who will greatly miss her. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, April 20, 2006, 11:00 a.m., St. Patrick Catholic Church. Interment at Calvary Cemetery. Please leave online condolences at www.gaffneyfuneralhome.com .
