Obituary Eddie Mae (Anderson) Jackson Sunrise: December4 1949 Sunset: September 25 2010 Eddie Jackson was born December 4th, 1949 in Toppenish Washington, and passed away on September 25th, 2010 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tacoma Washington. Eddie was preceded in death by her son, Domecko Cunningham; and her mother, Lizzie (Lynch) Anderson. Eddie received her education in a small town in eastern Washington called Toppenish. She graduated high school from there and continued to a college education in Yakima, receiving a degree and joining the reserves soon after. Later she spent several years working for the pentagon, later returning to Washington to continue working for the Air Force reserves until her honorable discharge. She continued her career taking care of others as a caregiver at private residents and nursing homes, working where ever she was needed. Eddie was loved by all that met her, and was known for her quiet, sweet nature and her love for God. Her polite ways gained her many friends and led to a rich life which will be remembered by all who knew her. She loved to give what she could; sometimes giving more, knowing God had blessed her actions. She tried to help those who crossed her path and she will be dearly missed. She was known as a daughter, a sister, a mother and a friend. Eddie is survived by her daughter, Monika Bland; sister, Christine Dupee; brothers, Thomas Anderson and Fred Anderson; and countless loved ones and friends. Arrangements made by Gaffney Funeral Home.
