Eathel Padur

Obituary EATHEL SUTTON PADUR passed away on October 7, 2008 at the age of 88. She was born and raised in the Eugene Oregon area. She graduated from the University of Oregon with an accounting degree. She worked for various CPA firms in Oregon and Washington. She met the love of her life, John J. Padur while living in Washington. They settled in Tacoma where she established her own CPA practice out of her home. Her Christian faith was central to her life as she enjoyed Bible study and attending Church. She was a member of the University Place Presbyterian Church, the Fircrest Golf Club, Eastern Star and was very active with Rainbow Girls. Eathel enjoyed playing golf, baking, entertaining family and friends, sewing clothes for herself and her two daughters, and traveling on vacations. She was preceded in death by her parents, Nellie and Clarence Sutton and her daughter Joni S. Padur Phd, and is survived by her husband of 52 years, John J. Padur, her daughter Linda L. Pendergast (husband Darren), grandson Lance Corporal Nicholas J. Lang, and sister Mary Alice Craiger (husband Dutch). She will be laid to rest at Gillespie Cemetery in Eugene Oregon at 11:00 AM on Monday October 20th. Please leave condolences online at www.GaffneyCares.com.
