Douglas Chester Stromberg

Obituary Douglas C. Stromberg Doug was born on June 26, 1931 in Tacoma, WA. He passed away on April 22, 2015. Doug was honorably discharged from the US Navy, and then retired from the Federal Prison System. In his early years, he played fast pitch and basketball, and then moved on to golfing. He was a true athlete and sports fan traveling every year to Reno for the Super Bowl, and Peoria for spring training with the Seattle Mariners. Doug also spent a month each year in Hawaii. He loved doing his crossword puzzles every morning and was a long-time member of the Elks and Eagles. Doug is survived by his daughter, Andrea Linden (Walter); step-daughters, Christie Dinelt (Roger), Marcia Miller (Paul), Sheila Cole, and Wendy Gallier; and nine step-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, Juanita; grandson, Timothy Domingo; and step-grandson, Eric. At Doug's request there will be no services held.
