Dorothy T. Brown

Obituary Dorothy T. Brown was born December 21, 1919 and died November 17, 2005. She was the youngest of nine children born to Michael and Anna Sotak. Dorothy attended Holy Rosary School and then graduated from St. Leo High School in 1937. She worked as a waitress in Chuck's Alibi Restaurant in Tacoma for more than 30 years. Preceded in death by her husband James H. Brown, Dorothy is survived by one sister, Leona Paulik, her brother-in-law and devoted caregiver John Tanghe, her stepchildren James R. Brown, Pamela Block, Robert D. Brown and their families and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Dorothy's joyful personality enriched many lives. Her devotion to family, deep faith, love of children and animals, generous spirit and quick laughter will long be remembered, and she will be deeply missed. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Rosary School in her name. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, November 23, 2005, 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church.
