Obituary DOROTHY EPSTEIN JULY 11, 1912 ?" DECEMBER 28, 2008 Dorothy passed away peacefully at home in the arms of her loving son, Allan. Dorothy was born in Seattle to Benjamin and Sadie Rashbam. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Isadore, sister Frieda, and nephew Roosevelt. Dorothy was a graduate of Stadium High, 1929, CPS (UPS) in 1932, Masters from Washington State, and additional graduate work at the U. of W. Dorothy was a much loved teacher of German at Wilson High from its start in 1958 until she retired in 1977. Dorothy belonged to many educational organizations, including Delta Kappa Gamma, NEA, WEA, and AAUW. She was also a member of Temple Beth El, Hadassah, and NCJW. She will be dearly missed by many. Dorothy is survived by her daughter Elizabeth, son Allan, precious niece Mary Ann, Mary Ann's children and grandchildren, also her nephew Quentin, his children and grandchildren. Many thanks to her wonderful caregivers, Carol and Denise. Graveside service will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at 1:00 pm, Home of Peace Cemetery, 5421 Steilacoom Blvd. SW.
