Obituary Dorothy M. Bonn Dorothy was born June 15, 1924 in San Francisco, California and grew up in nearby Daly City. She also lived in Manteca, California and Tacoma, Washington. Wherever she lived, she was always known as a loving, caring person. She easily connected with people, friends and strangers alike, having a real talent for making people feel good about themselves. She enjoyed playing bridge and going out for coffee and a treat, so no one was prepared for her death on the morning of May 3rd. Dorothy will be forever known as someone who loved the Lord, loved life, and encouraged others to do the same. She is survived by her brother Howard Byrne and ex-husband John Bonn; her children, Jeanne (Sam) Bonn-Nazzal and Michael (Katie) Bonn; and her grandchildren: Katrina Nazzal, Jesse (Dena) Bonn, Jennifer Nazzal, Nena (Charlie) Barnhart, Brenna (David) Richmon, and Car Nazzal. Services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at the Tacoma Lutheran Home, 1301 North Highlands Parkway, Tacoma. The family requests that donations be made in lieu of flowers to the Tacoma Lutheran Home, where she spent her last year in a loving environment.
