Dorothea Edith Emery

Obituary Dorothea Edith Udovich Dorothea was born in Tacoma on the 16th of December 1921, and left us on the 12th of September 2010. She lost her beloved husband Albert, in 1966. She was passionate about her garden - fruits, vegetables and especially flowers. Her flower gardens were always a sight to behold. She was also passionate about cooking. She worked at Tobey Jones for 5 years as the Head Dinner Cook. Her family dinners were most important to her! She is survived by her son Albert (Charlene), her sisters Betty Bowland and Catherine Dahl (Harry), 2 grandchildren: Albert & Joseph (Tammy), four great-grandchildren, brother-in-law Barney Nino and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank hospice nurse Angie & staff and all the wonderful people from Alpha Zoe Assisted Living - especially Ester and all of her lovely caregivers. There will be a Private Service for family and close friends at Calvary Cemetery on Thursday, Sept. 16th at 11:00 am.
