Obituary Dora Marie Lange After 97 full years, Dora Marie Lange was called home to join her beloved family and friends. Born in Siedenburg, Germany in 1910, Dora lived through the hardships of both world wars. She came to America in 1954 seeking a means of supporting her parents back home. Working as a seamstress in San Francisco, she met and married Heinrich Lange in 1955. Together they moved to Tacoma where she began a successful career buying and selling real estate. Heinrich died in 1969, and several years later, she met Charles Pritchard who would become the love of her life. For 25 years they shared a life of travel, dance, laughter and love. She lost her dear Chuck in 1999, but she never lost her positive perspective. Dora died peacefully as she wished in the home of her granddaughter, surrounded by those who loved her. We will miss our Dora. Her life will be celebrated on Saturday, January 26, at 11:00 am at Gaffney Funeral Home in Tacoma. A viewing is planned for Friday from 9:00 am to 8:30 pm.
