Obituary Donnie Darrel Roberts Donnie Darrel Roberts, 71, peacefully passed away on Saturday, July 5, 2014 at his home. Donnie was born on October 5, 1942 in Biggers, Arkansas. He was drafted into the Army at the age of 21 and met the love of his life while stationed at Fort Lewis, WA. He went on to have a 30 year career in the Tacoma Fire Department. Donnie is survived by his wife, Ann Roberts; son, Jon Roberts; his adoring grandchildren, Nolan and Paige Roberts; and his niece and nephew, Mary Marquart and Tommy Roberts. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother; and son, Donnie Jr. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by Fr. John on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at 11:00am at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 5510 N. 44th St., Tacoma, WA 98407 with reception to follow.
