Domina Marie Huntsman

Domina (“Minnie”) Marie Huntsman passed peacefully on September 18, 2020 at the age of 99. Born in Tacoma to George and Lucy Jurich who immigrated from Vis, Croatia, Minnie grew up locally in Old Town Tacoma. She graduated from Aquinas Academy and was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. Minnie married Robert (“Bob”) Huntsman in 1947 and they both enjoyed long railroad careers in Tacoma. She was a loyal volunteer at St. Joseph Hospital for years. A love of travel inspired many wonderful adventures overseas, first with Bob and then with her friends after Bob passed. She was a loving and generous, daughter, wife, sister and friend. To her many nieces and nephews, she was a special aunt, actively participating in, and enriching our lives.  Minnie was predeceased by her parents George and Lucy, her husband Bob, sister, Katherine (Puratich) and brother, Michael.  She is survived by her sister Lucille (Bullatt) and brother George, along with her nieces and nephews whom she dearly loved.
