Obituary DOMENICO DI PALMA Domenico "Dominick" Di Palma, born on May 4, 1929 in Brusciano, Italy, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2010 in Tacoma. Dominick moved to the U.S. in 1961. He worked at the Port of Tacoma for 29 years as a railroad track maintenance Supervisor. Some of his greatest pleasures were gardening, making wine, traveling, and being with family. He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years, Antonietta (Cipullo); brother, Sebastiano Di Palma (Ida), Italy; sister, Filomena Formato (Angelo - deceased), Italy, sister, Rosa De Blasio - deceased (Marco - deceased), Franklin Park, IL; cousins Larry Di Palma (Dolores - deceased), Tacoma, and Aniello Iovino (Giovanna) Puyallup. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews in the U.S. and Italy. He will be remembered as a generous and caring individual. Rosary at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, March 26 at Gaffney Funeral Home, 1002 S. Yakima, Tacoma. Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Sat., March 27 at St. Patrick's, 1001 N. J. St., Tacoma. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society at 1-800-ACS-2345.
