Obituary Dolores Ann (Hebert) Agren Born July 26, 1929 to Lee and Ann Hebert in Mt. Vernon, WA. She died peacefully March 7, 2012 in a Seattle nursing home. She was preceded in death by her brother, Donald Hebert. Her early years were spent in Mt. Vernon until her parents moved to Tacoma when she was at the age of 14. She entered 6th grade at St. Leo's Grade School, then was taught by the Franciscan Sisters and graduated from St. Leo's High School. She received a scholarship from Tacoma Catholic College and later transferred to Seattle University where she received a B.S. in Medical Technology. She began her professional career at St Joseph's Hospital in Tacoma until she married her husband, Arvon on October 17, 1964. She then went to work for the University of Washington Hospital and became Head of the Department of Hematology. Through the years she taught and mentored many students. Dolores was blessed with a beautiful voice and was a talented musician. She was very active in her church choirs and was a soloist for many weddings and funerals in Tacoma. She loved to entertain and was a fantastic cook. To really understand Dolores you must familiarize yourself with the Astrological sign of ‘Leo'. She is survived by her husband, Arvon, and cousins Barbara Cavers in Cupertino, CA, and John Hebert in Seattle. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, March 30, 2012, 12:10 pm at St. Leo's Catholic Church, 710 S. 13th St. (S. 13th & Yakima) in Tacoma, WA.
