Obituary Diane Loflin (Karlich) Â Diane was born on December 26, 1935 on a small island in the Mediterranean Sea off the coast of Croatia to Anton and Ljubica Karlich, and passed away on January 4, 2015. The family arrived in Old Town Tacoma when she was 12 years old. She attended St. Patrick Catholic School and graduated from Stadium High School in 1955. She is survived by husband, Dr. Leonard Loflin D.D.S; sisters, Mary Ann Karlich and Sonja Curnow; daughters, Susan Tankiewicz (Tom), Sandra Kornegay; sons, John Keizer (Norine), Steve Loflin (Leslie), and Harry Loflin (Rosemary). She has 10 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She was a long time member of St. Patrick Catholic Church and the Slavonian American Benevolent Society. She was a Dental Assistant and Dental office manager at Browns Point for over 40 years. She will be remembered for her exceptional beauty both inside and out. We will miss her very much. A special thanks to her great caregivers at A New Haven Adult Family Home at Twin Lakes, Winnie, Madylynn, Mary Ann, Maria and Grace. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to St. Patrick Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited on Thursday, January 8, 2015 at 6:30pm at Gaffney Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, January 9, 2015 at 11:00am at St. Patrick Catholic Church followed by a reception. Entombment at Calvary Cloisters.
