Obituary Diane Marie Kerish After a short battle with lung cancer, Diane Kerish passed away peacefully on June 19, 2013 at home with loved ones around her. She was born to George and Barbara Contois on May 13, 1962 in Downey, California. She spent her early childhood in Huntington Beach, California with a large extended family. The family moved to Connecticut in 1971 where Diane went on to graduate from Lewis S. Mills High School in 1980. Diane married Mike Kerish in 1981 and had 3 sons, and lived in Bristol, Ct. In 1996, Diane had a little girl, Rachael O'Reilly whom she adored with Ray O'Reilly. Diane enjoyed gardening, camping, her dog Ginger and spending time with her friends and family. Diane worked most of her life as a waitress in Connecticut. When she moved to Washington in 2009 she worked at the Antique Sandwich Company, where she made friends with her coworkers and her customers. She was exceptionally proud of her sobriety and the friends and support she received from Alcoholics Anonymous. Diane is preceded in death by her parents, maternal and paternal grandparents and her aunt and namesake Diane Pianko. Diane leaves behind her children, Michael (Jeanette), Austin, Spencer, and Rachael, two grandchildren Tiffany and Loki, as well as her sister, Renee Tyminski, brother-in-law Kent Tyminski and nieces Casey Tyminski and Megan Tyminski Hubers and many cousins. Diane's family would like to invite friends and relatives to celebrate her life Monday June 24, 2013 at 8:00 p.m. at the Antique Sandwich Company 5102 N. Pearl St,, Tacoma, Washington.
