Obituary Delpha Mae Gentili, 88, passed away of natural causes on Wednesday, December 27, 2006. Delpha was born 9-12-1918 in Foley Minnesota, the daughter of Burl Johnson and Emma Fleck. Later she moved from Foley to Springfield OR in 1934. She married Elmer R. Gentili on 9-22-1941 in Tacoma WA. They lived in Tacoma with their children until 1957, when they moved to Seattle. She was married for 25 years before her husband passed away in June 10 1966. She loved to dance, travel and be around friends and family. She finished her career at Tacoma Community College where she retired in 1995. Delpha was preceded in death by her parents Burl and Emma (Fleck) Johnson, brothers Elmer and Wes and sisters Ella and Mildred (Swearingen). She is survived by a brother Butch Johnson (Nancy) of Delta Junction, AK. , a sister Opal Batchelor (Jack) of Eugene, OR., a sister-in-law June Johnson wife of Elmer Johnson of Cosmopolis WA., her sons E Robert Gentili (Victoria) of Sierra Visa, AZ., Richard A. Gentili (Patrice) of Cottage Grove, OR., Gordon B Gentili (April) of Maple Valley, WA., and a daughter Gail M Hoffman (Warren) of Shelton, WA. She loved being surrounded by her 10 Grandchildren, and 17 Great-grandchildren. A viewing will be from 8:30 A.M. To 1:00 P.M. At Gaffney Funeral Home in Tacoma with services at Calvary Cemetery at 2:00 P.M. On Friday December 29th.
