Debra Jo Landis passed away Friday, June 28th, 2023, at the Northwest Retirement Center, in Tacoma, WA.
Deb Landis was born June 23rd, 1955, to Art and Yvonne Landis. Deb was just 13 when her father passed away in 1968. She had two brothers Bob & Jim. Bob passed away in 1988. Deb was an aunt to two young men whom she had adored, Michael and Matt Kramer.
She was a fierce advocate for others, especially young people, co-owning an addiction agency, in Yakima, WA, and then moved into counseling youth in the Auburn School District. Finishing up at Auburn Mountainview High School. Also, in her journey through cancer supporting and comforting others, in their experience of this disease.
Deb is survived by her mother Yvonne Driver, and by her brother Jim Landis. She had a huge zest for life and left footprints in the lives of those she touched. She definitely lived life on her terms and will be greatly missed.
Deb asked that in lieu of flowers that a contribution be made to an endowment for the students at Auburn Mountainview High School, in her name.
Thank you for your love and support for my sister.
