Obituary Deborah Lynn Kyler died at home, with her husband and friends on Sunday, February 25, 2007. She was born February 11, 1951 in Tacoma, Washington. Debbie graduated from Mount Tahoma High School in 1969 and served in the Air Force. She returned to Tacoma and became a registered nurse, working most of her career as an Emergency Room Nurse in both the Franciscan Health System and Multicare at Tacoma General Hospital. Debbie loved nursing, especially the contact and care she was able to provide for patients and their loved ones in the emergent care setting. Debbie is survived by her husband, Dan Kyler, parents Don and Peggy Young, sister Gina Nelson of Oahu, Hawaii and her niece and nephews, Lisa Nelson, Vincent Nelson, and Don Nelson. Debbie was preceded in death by her brother David Young and her young nephew Brett Nelson. She was an enthusiastic fly and salmon fisherman, and commercial salmon fished for years with her father Don out of Ilwaco, Washington. Friends were very much Debbie's extended family. Her passion and commitment to friends brought her great joy as she shared their laughter, sorrows and challenges. She will be missed and remembered for her smile, laughter and compassion. She thanked, and her family gives thanks to Dr. Frank Senecal and the exceptional nurses and staff at Northwest Medical Specialties for their care, compassion and friendship. A memorial service to remember Debbie is scheduled for March 15, 2007 at 2:00 pm at The Landmark Plaza Grand Ballroom, 47 St. Helens Ave. Tacoma, WA, with a reception to follow.
