Obituary David Danial Kurz , age 73, passed peacefully on February 23, 2018. David is survived by his wife of 53 years, Diane Kurz; his children Kevin, Brenda, and Jacqui and his six grandchildren. David was born in Ladysmith, Wisconsin on April 20, 1944 to Clement and Clara Kurz. The Kurz family moved to Washington State where they settled on a small family farm in Puyallup. David graduated from Sumner High School and became a skilled sheet metal tradesman. David married his high school sweetheart, Diane, and continues to love her beyond his last breath. They were a model to many about how to shape and maintain a life and marriage. David and Diane built their life together by having three children as well as by constructing and remolding many homes. He could be recognized around town driving his black CJ7 Jeep and parking cars down at his properties at The Washington State Fair. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and cutting trees for firewood. He was engaged with his grandchildren often times on the floor, playing cars, board games, and building blocks. People who have played cribbage with David would have delighted in his cunning competitiveness. David was a deeply spiritual man and, through his example, encouraged his children to have a relationship with God. His spirit of loving, caring, and generosity to others were freely given to the church by doing repairs to the convent, and assisting with many projects at All Saints Church and school in Puyallup, Wa. David was called, "a genius with his hands," and could, "fix anything." He also offered a helping hand to many others, never expecting a return favor. He retired from The Boeing Company after 35 years. He never really stopped working, and continued to show his acts of love by helping his family, and always staying busy. You will always be in our hearts and minds.
