Obituary Daniel Thomas Harkins In loving memory of Daniel Thomas Harkins, born 1926, the youngest son of Alexander and Eleanor Harkins. Daniel passed 5/17/2013. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Verna; sons, Michael and Douglass; daughter, Karen; 7 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Dan was a native Tacoman, born and raised. During WWII, he served his country in the Merchant Marines. He retired from the auto parts industry.Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 23, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Visitation Catholic Church.
