Obituary Clara Squally John Clara Squally John, 89 years old, was the oldest member of the Puyallup Tribe. Born April 13, 1916 in Milton WA, she passed away October 4, 2005 at home with her family. Clara was a life-long resident of Puyallup, WA. She was a homemaker, farmer and an avid fly fisherman. Clara was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph John, Sr., sons David John, Morris John, Dennis John, Sr., and daughters Donna John, Kathleen John Warner and Amy John. She is survived by sons Joseph John, Jr., Andrew John, both of Puyallup, Henry John and Francis John, both of Tacoma; daughters Karen Sharp, Lizabeth Whitford and Denita Searles, all of Tacoma. Clara is also survived by 115 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. The family members would like to express their appreciation to the Puyallup Tribe Health Authority, the Nisqually Tribe, and to all their friends and family. The wake service will be held 6:00pm Thursday, October 6, 2005 at the Nisqually Tribal Gym. Funeral services will be held 10:00am Friday, October 7, 2005, also at the Nisqually Tribal Gym with graveside service to follow at Nisqually Tribal Cemetery.
