Carol Marie Mcgavock

Obituary Carol Marie McGavock Carol passed on February 27, 2014. She was born on March 9, 1955 in Worland, Wyoming. Carol poured her heart into serving as an EMT, as office coordinator of St. Joseph Midwifery Clinic and coaching girls soccer. But her greatest passion was her own children and those of her brothers and sisters. Carol lived bravely and compassionately with serious illness for nearly half her life, yet it never dimmed her deep and unconditional love for everyone she knew. She is survived by her husband Michael; her sons Joel and Andrew, her parents Warner and Carol Kobel; brothers Bob and Bruce; sisters Dawn and Tracy; and numerous nieces and nephews. She has joined her first son Nathan, brother Brian, sister Cheryl and sister-in-law Sherri in heaven. A Celebration of the Spirit of Life for Carol will be held on Sunday, March 9 at 1pm in the Pagoda Building at Point Defiance Park in Tacoma. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Carol's name to the Rotary Club of Tacoma North, PO Box 7792, Tacoma WA 98417-0792. Funds will be forwarded to the Children's Advocacy Center at Mary Bridge Children's Hospital.
