Obituary Burton H. Knox Burton H. Knox, age 73, of Tacoma died peacefully in Tacoma on October 11th, 2014 from complications related to Parkinson's disease. He was born in Denver, CO on June 1st 1941. He married and moved to Tacoma in 1973 with his family where he settled and enjoyed many years. Burton served 4 years in the US Navy sharing the experience with his brothers. He retired from the Puyallup School District in 2000 and spent his retirement enjoying time with his family and friends. Survivors include his two daughters, Amy Scott and Diane Gilson; his two sons, Bradley Knox and Michael Knox; three brothers, Nolan, Keith and Steven Knox; sister, Cindy Lay; six grand children; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Burton will be laid to rest in a location special to his family this summer in Rocky Mountain National Park. Please leave online condolences at www.gaffneycares.com.
