Obituary Bryan W. Tomasetti Bryan William Tomasetti, age 34, died unexpectedly on Wed., June 17, 2009 in Tacoma, WA of a brain aneurysm. Born September 13, 1974 in Camp Hill, PA, he was the son of Marilyn and Michael Dowd, Mechanicsburg and Ronald and Kathy Tomasetti of Elizabethtown. Surviving in addition to his parents are two brothers, Dr. Adam Tomasetti DC, husband of Emily Tomasetti, Columbia, and Jeremiah Tomasetti, Elizabethtown; two sisters, Mira Osterlund, York Haven and Liz Johnston, wife of Andrew Johnston, Sandusky, Ohio. He is also survived by 3 nieces and 3 nephews. Bryan was an Editor and Freelance Writer for Crew Life Magazine. He served as First Mate on the Continental Drifter III, a yacht owned by a private celebrity, from Nov. '07 to Oct. '08. He also served as captain of the "Lady Deborah" from July '07 to Oct. '07. Bryan was commissioned an officer in the Merchant Marines in 2008. He achieved the rank of Captain. Along with his love to travel the world, Bryan loved to tango and danced in various countries as well as the US. His true love was the sea. A cause that was close to Bryan's heart was preservation of the ocean waters. Seakeepers is the environmental organization he supported. A memorial service to celebrate Bryan's life will be held on Sat., June 27, at Mt. Calvary Church, 625 Holly St., Elizabethtown. A time to meet with the family is scheduled from 11:00 a.m. to Noon. The service will begin at Noon.
