Obituary Blanche (Dollie) Malfatti, 101 Washingtonian, was born in Aberdeen, WA. Her father, Louis Neimann, being a logger gave Dollie adventurous years in various logging camps - even the famous Camp Six. About 1925, she was happy to have pavement under her feet when mother Jenny decided a move to Tacoma and manage a hotel on 24th & Pacific. She attended Holy Rosary School and married in 1936 to Abramo (Abe) Malfatti in Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She had 2 children Veronica and Philip born in the 40's, Veronica survives. Blanche was a sorter 17 ½ years for the Salvation Army. After retiring she loved caring for her only grandson Anthony Alan Malfatti, who now resides in Sequim, WA with great-granddaughter Anjala Marie. A special thanks for the love and care from best friends, Don & Nola Bacon, David Morris, God-daughter Rheata Hayward, Eucharistic Ministry of Patty Pitsch, and lastly, Arbor Rose Family Group Home. A Rosary will be recited by Dixie Knoll at 2pm, prior to the Funeral Service being held, Monday, January 9, 2012, 2:30 pm at Gaffney Funeral Home Chapel. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
