Beverly Julianna (Overland) Petrovich

Obituary Beverly was born to Lauris and Gurine Overland on March 9, 1937. She was the eighth of the nine children in the Overland family. They were proud of their Norwegian heritage and customs. Bev graduated in the first graduating class of Franklin Pierce High School in 1955. She married Elmer (Phil) Phillips and they had two sons, Douglas and David. They were married for 43 years. Phil passed away in 1999. She married Michael Petrovich in 2004; they were married four and a half years before he passed away in 2008. Bev worked in the medical field for twenty years and then joined the staff at Franklin Pierce School District Business Office. She retired as Fiscal Analyst in 1999. She was preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Ethel Weisner, Gladys Caillier, Irene Johnson, Norma Shields and Mary Ann Zurfluh; brother, LeRoy Overland and granddaughter Tiffany. Surviving are sons Doug (Debbie), and David, grandchildren: Paul, Justin and Taryn; great-granddaughters: Harley, Layla and Trinity; sisters: Lois (Herbert) Siefkes and Carol Sue (Lee) Blattner; her special friend Lee Staggs, and many nieces, nephews and their families. She was a member of the University Place Presbyterian Church. She volunteered for Multicare Hospice Program and was a member of the YMCA. Services will be at University Place Presbyterian Church on Sunday, July 10, 2016 at 2:00 pm. A reception will be held at the church following the services.
