Obituary Barbara Lucin (Hill) SCOTT Barbara, 69, passed away September 26, 2005 in Renton. She was born March 9, 1936 to Eino and Aino Hill in Aberdeen, Washington. A graduate of Weatherwax high School in Aberdeen, she went on to attend Grays Harbor Community College where she met her husband to be, Howard. After graduating from the University of Washington, she moved to Maryland to be with Howard at his assigned Navy duty station and began a teaching career in Prince George's County. Barbara and Howard moved to Des Moines in 1960 where she raised her family and in later years worked as an elementary teacher in the Highline School District, retiring in 1993. Barbara was a lifetime member of Eastern Star and The Finnish Brotherhood. She enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends and was always up for a social gathering. She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Howard; sons Keith and Kevin; Keith's friend Claire; cousins; a host of lifelong friends and all the kids who considered her "mom." Committal Service will be Friday, September 30, 2005, 1:00 p.m. at Tahoma National Cemetery 18600 SE 240th, Kent, WA 98042. Please leave online condolences at www.gaffneyfuneralhome.com.
