Barbara Jean Lucich

August 31, 1936 — December 31, 2022

Barbara Lucich was born August 31st 1936 and passed away peacefully at home, on December 31st 2022 with her family by her side. She fought a long battle with Parkinsons and passed away from complications from the disease.

Barbara was a lifelong resident of North Tacoma and a lifelong member of Holy Cross Church. She graduated from Aquinas class of 1954.

Barbara is preceded in death by her parents George and Rose Bustruck brothers George and Walt Bustruck and sister-in-law Betty Bustruck. She is survived by her husband, Richard of 65 years, Four daughters Lynda (Paul) Karen (Larry) Sandy (Mark) and Dana (Dave), five grandchildren Ryan (Jordan) Melissa (Jared) Brittany (Scott) Jacob (Maddie) and Mason and 7 great grandchildren with one on the way.

Barbara will be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be missed by each of us. The family would like to send a special thank you to the Hospice team for the support, guidance and care that was given to our family.

Celebration of life will be held Wednesday January 11th at 11:00 am at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Rosary held at 10:15 prior to the celebration of life.
