Barbara L. Farley

Obituary Barbara L. Farley 92 years passed away peacefully on 2-02-08 after suffering a fall at Puyallup WA. She was born on 09-20-15 in Ontario, OR. Barbara enjoyed working in her garden and was an active member of the Root & Bloom Club. She was a former owner of Farley's Florist. Barbara was a Charter Member of the Waller Road Grange. She enjoyed attending the Class of 1933 Lincoln High School Reunions and the Lincoln Ladies Luncheon. She volunteered at the St. Joseph's Hospital Gift Shop, and enjoyed sewing and crafts. Mom was an avid Bingo and Casino enthusiast. She enjoyed watching sports especially the Seattle Seahawks and was a member of the South Sound Sea Hawkers Booster Club. Barbara was preceded in death by husband Clair and son Michael. She is survived by brother Bill Thompson (Amy) sons; Thomas (Janice) and Patrick, daughters; Sister Mary Ellen Farley, OSF, Barbara Hixon and Sue Farley, 6 Grandchildren and 4 Great grandchildren and dogs Hurry & Ida. Thanks to the staff at Sheltered Arms for their wonderful care of Mom. Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, Feb. 8, 2008 at11:00 am at St Ann's Convent. Reception to follow at Canyon Terrace Club House.
