Arnold Kent Roberts

Obituary Arnold K. Roberts 1932-2009 Passed away on February 6, 2009 after a lengthy illness. He was born on November 5, 1932 in Chicago, IL but grew up in Michigan until he joined the Navy. He worked in Law Enforcement and then Aerospace until retirement. He leaves behind his wife Pauline, the love of his life, 6 children, Kenneth (Pam) of CA, Kevin (Janet) of Tacoma, Kim of Tacoma, Corinne Workman of WI, Kelly (Laura) of Puyallup, Chris Cruz (Ben) of Tacoma, 17 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren, a brother Keith (Jean) of MI and a sister Wilma of IL. He is preceded in death by brother Marvin, granddaughter Melissa Workman and great grandson Damian Workman. He spent his life as a truly honest and honorable man. His devotion to his wife and family was known by all who knew him. He lived a life he could be proud of and was respected by all who knew him. He is now at peace in the hands of the Lord. There will be a rosary and viewing at Gaffney Funeral Home at 1002 S Yakima Ave in Tacoma on Feb. 9th at 7 PM. Funeral services are 10 AM on Feb. 10 at St. John of the Woods in Tacoma. In lieu of flowers we ask that any contributions be made to the Franciscan Hospice program.
